Review of successful EWWR 2010 Events.
The European Week for Waste Reduction recently took place all over Europe.
As part of the week's activities in Ireland, Repak teamed up with Greenbusiness and SEAI to organise two events aimed at helping Companies reduce costs associated with Packaging, Energy, Water and Solid wastes. "Total Waste Prevention: How to reduce costs and optimise resources for your business" was held in Dublin on Tuesday, 23rd of November in the Red Cow Hotel, and the Cork event took place two days later on Thursday, 25th November in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork Airport. Experts spoke about ways in which companies can reduce waste, thereby leading to resource reduction. We also heard from companies who have put the theory to the test which resulted in substantial savings.
